Installation made simple

Our brick Fireplace Chamber Panels have been designed with the professional installer in mind, we have worked alongside several of the UKs leading stove and log burner retailers and installers to create a ready made product, that saves time and money during the log burner installation process.

All our fire chambers are ready-made, with the brick slips permanently bonded to our A1 fire rated backing board, and then fully pointed in a choice of mortar colours.

Installation is normally completed in under 1 hour, and if the panels do not need trimming down to suit the existing fire place opening, then they are generally installed in under 30 minutes!

The installation is a straight forward process and requires very little if any training, so your existing team of stove installers can offer a brick fireplace feature installed on the same day as the log burner.

Prime the substrate

Surface preparation is always key when applying any type of adhesive, and brick slip panels are no different. We recommend priming all substrates with Pro Primer.

Offer the panels up in position and mark out where any cutting will be required to ensure a snug fit, in the majority of installs cutting is not necessary as the panels can be installed in full. Any cutting that needs to be done can be completed using a diamond blade on a 9″ grinder, or alternative power tool.

We would always recommend using Slip-Fix adhesive for the installation as this has been tried and tested for this specific use.

Adhesive needs to be applied every 100-150mm both horizontally and vertically, applied at a depth of 20mm (please consider this prior to cutting the fire chamber panels to size) .

Position the fire chamber panels onto the adhesive, ensuring the panels are correctly aligned before they make contact with the adhesive. Once correctly aligned, firmly press the panels into the adhesive , ensuring even contact on all the adhesive.

The brick panels will be set within 2 -3 hours, however work can continue on the other parts of your installation during this process.
